About Me
Shira Raz was born and raised in Israel, where she studied at the Kiryat ono college of photography. Shira specializes in Fine Art and Product photography.
Her work has appeared internationally in exhibitions, galleries and magazines.
Shira is available for bookings worldwide.
Artist statement
I have always felt a strong connection to nature, and to the feelings of peace that can be found in a natural environment.
In my work, I attempt to convey those feelings of serenity and calm, and to interpret the emotions of the captured moments. This is accomplished through a combination of a minimalistic approach in my photography together with my attraction to water and the open space.
In post-production, I pursue a pastel and clean style that tries to soothe the soul even more.
With my photographs, I hope to provide the viewer with a different perspective and attitude; one leading to a place that lingers between reality and imagination.
